Scholarship Applications NOW Available

Topeka Community Foundation scholarship applications are NOW available. The application process is completely on-line and you can access the application(s) by clicking here . If you have questions, contact the Foundation office at 785-272-4804. The application deadline is Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

Topeka Gives 2015

We are excited to begin planning for Topeka Gives 2015. The first step for you to be involved in this fun day of giving, slated for Tuesday, June 2, 2015, is to attend an informational meeting. We will be sharing logistical information about the day and distributing participation agreements.

The following meeting days/times are available: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6th; 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7th; 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7th; 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8th; 1:30 p.m. Thursday,  Jan. 8th; 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13th; 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13th; 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14th; 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14th

All meetings will take place in the Foundation’s board room and last one hour or less. Please RSVP by emailing your requested meeting day/time to: pope@topekacommunityfoundation.org.

Youth Development: Collaborative initiatives which teach useful skills and build self-confidence of young people in Shawnee County ensuring capable, effective leaders for the next generation.

Mental Health:  Educating, protecting and advancing the rights of persons with mental health disabilities in Shawnee County.

Healthy Lifestyles:  Programs/projects that directly and positively change health habits, behaviors and/or lifestyles through prevention, intervention and education strategies for residents in Nemaha, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Jefferson, Douglas, Shawnee, Wabaunsee, Osage and Lyon Counties.

The Topeka Community Foundation is making it easier than ever to give to your favorite charities.

The Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of Topeka Community Foundation Giving Cards. Much like retail gift cards, Giving Cards are given to celebrate birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. Giving Cards can be redeemed to benefit any 501(c)(3) public charity in Topeka and the United States (including schools and churches).
