We offer a wide range of gifting options and vehicles that you can use to establish or add to a named charitable fund. Since we are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity, donors are provided with the maximum tax benefits allowed by law. Once your fund is established you can add to it at any time and in any dollar amount.
Gifts to the Topeka Community Foundation may take a variety of forms. Many are outright gifts by living donors either on a onetime or a periodic basis. Others are bequests and testamentary gifts that take effect upon the donor’s death.
The Foundation may accept the following types of outright contributions:
Contributions of real property, tangible personal property, closely-held stock and partnership interests will be gifted and titled to the
TCF-Special Asset Company, LLC, and processed according to that entity’s policies and procedures.
The Foundation reserves the right to refuse any gift that it believes is not in the best interests of the Foundation.
